Submit A Name Change Request

If you have a name change request, you must submit an online application and submit the appropriate documentation confirming the name change (certified court documents, marriage license, or divorce decree). AZDPS fee is $15.80.

MUST REAPPLY AS A NEW APPLICANT

If you’ve lost your AZ CCW permit card and it’s been 61 days past the grace period. You must reapply as a new applicant. Simply take our online course for $59 to be issued a new certificate of completion. Then submit your application and pay the state processing fee of $67.45. You will then receive instructions to submit new electronic fingerprints for $8-$10.

How Reciprocity Works in Arizona

Arizona will honor all other states concealed carry permits. There is one exception with the Idaho permit as stated in the notes below.   • Idaho – Arizona will only honor the Idaho Enhanced Permit. They will not honor the Idaho Standard Permit.
  • Oklahoma – Residents of Arizona can carry a concealed firearm without any permit while visiting Oklahoma. The only requirement is that you carry state issued ID from Arizona.
  • California does not recognize an Arizona CCW Permit, but does issue Non-Resident CCW Permits to Arizona Residents.

No. It is a one-time $2.99 reminder service fee. This service is optional and not required.

You’ll receive an email confirmation after payment, then another reminder when your 90-day renewal window begins. Note if you expiration date is within 90-days, you will only receive the automated email confirmation after you pay. There is no secondary 90-day email reminder.

You may start the renewal process within 90-days of the expiration date listed on your permit card. If you submit your renewal greater than 91-days, AZDPS will kick back your application. You will have to resubmit your application and pay the renewal fee again. So use this tool to your advantage.

Yes, there is a 60-day grace period. But if you are 61-days past, you must reapply as a new applicant. You are no longer considered as a renewal applicant. We offer an Expired Concierge Application Service for a fee. You must have an expired AZ CCW Permit card to use this service. 

If you no longer have the physical card, you may take our $59 online certification course to be issued a new certificate of completion. You may submit certificate with your online application to be approved for a new Arizona CCW Permit.
